It will be a year tomorrow that I heard you take your last breath. I still hear it. I miss your getty laugh, your praying ways, your sound advise, your loving touch, and your unconditional devotion to us. I can tell that you have left a little of you in all of us. For that I am thankful. I miss talking to you everyday, and even though I still speak to you, I can't hear your voice. I am waiting for it to get easier like everyone promised, but we were so close I don't see me ever getting over you being gone. I use to write my feelings in letters to you, but it's not the same. I am glad you are in Heaven in you new body, and you don't have anymore pain. I know you are watching over us and sometimes I can feel when you visit. I take pleasure in the little things now, remember you told me one day I would. I find myself doing things and saying things that I remember you doing and saying. All I can do is smile, and give thanks for God blessing me with the worlds most beloved and precious Mother. For that I find peace, and every person that had the honor of meeting you, say the same thing."You changed or touched their life" So you see Mommie, inspite of not feeling appreciated you were. Just like you said, "You will get your reward" I believe that you have and I am glad that you already knew what to look forward to. I Love and Miss You, Rest Easy...Chocolate Child

What is this that took my life and made it beautiful? What is this that that holds me close and never lets me go? What is this that tells me better days are yet to come? Its your love that gives new mercy every morning. What is this that gives me peace in every circumstance? What is this that broke the chains that made me free at last? All this joy i have there's nowhere i can hide it. It's your loving, I must tell the world about it.
Your love has captured me, in ways i cant describe/with mere words,i need so desperately, to be closer to you every minute of my life. What is this that wipes my tears when life is hard to bear? What is this that takes my hands and leads me everywhere? Never leaves me nor forsakes me thats your promise, its your love and there is nothing else just like it. What is this that makes me want to keep you smiling? Dear Mommie, I am still trying to wrap my head around this. To not hear your voice and not see your face has not been easy these past few months.
