Gloria J. Hardy

Hardy Gloria J. Hardy, age 71, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, January 23, 2015. Born in Lumberton, NC to Irwin and Claudia Hesson, Gloria touched many lives. She conducted several Ladies Day Events in and out of the state of Ohio. She was well versed in the Greek language and shared her knowledge in study groups and teaching classes. Gloria traveled worldwide with her husband as an Air Force military wife, and in her travels her fluent French became useful in Paris and other French speaking countries. Her love for her Savior could be seen through her appreciation of nature and in the beautiful poetry that she has written. Preceded in death by her parents. Gloria is survived by husband of 51 years, Jim Hardy; sisters, Rosemary Rodriguez of Alabama and Janet Smith and husband, Paul of North Carolina; nieces, Beth Quinn of North Carolina, Belinda Blackstone of Alabama, and Linda Fox of North Carolina; nephew, Floyd Olmstrad of North Carolina; several great nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends on Friday, January 30, from 7-9 p.m. at COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg.
