Greta Sinclair Obituary

Sinclair Greta Mae Cooper Sinclair, age 92 1/2, of Columbus, formerly of Clifton, died peacefully Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at her home surrounded by family. She was a retired deli clerk and was a former associate of Super Duper. During World War II, she was a tele typist for Western Union. A homemaker, she took tender care of her mother for many years and raised a loving family. Of the Methodist faith, she was a wonderful cook, an accomplished knitter and loved playing the tambourine with her friends in their "All Girl Band." She cherished her pet cat, Keno. She will be remembered as "the most beautiful angel in the world." God has taken this most special angel in His arms during her sleep and given her peace. Her song of dedication is "Goodbye's The Saddest Word" by Celine Dion. She was born January 4, 1923 in Clifton, Ohio to the late Frank Pitts and Anna Mae Harphant Cooper and was also preceded in death by her husband Richard Arlo Sinclair, Sr., brother Frank Cooper, sisters Thelma Davis, Anna Lucille DeLay, Dorothy Louise Stout, her granddaughter Tammy Lewis and her daughter-in-law Teri LeBlanc Sinclair. She is survived by daughters, Connie Lewis and Kathy (Robert) Litzinger, both of Columbus; her son, Richard (Diana) Sinclair, Jr. of Marysville; grandsons, Alan Lewis Jr., Joseph (Lisa) Lewis, Shawn (Jackie) Lewis, James Aaron Tecumseh (Cori) Sinclair, Jason (Carla) Sinclair, Jamey (Ashley) Sinclair, Richard Arlo Sinclair, III; great-grandchildren, Joe Jr. and Nick Lewis, Jace and Zach Sinclair and Logan Grantz; a sister-in-law, Clara Cooper; and many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. At her request, a cremation will take place. UNDERWOOD FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.underwoodfuneralhome.com.
