Harley Wallace Obituary

WALLACE Harley Sherman Wallace, Sr., age 64, went home to be with the Lord after a brief illness, on Friday, June 24, 2005 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Retired from Anheuser Busch after 29 years of service. Predeceased by loving wife of 43 years, Delois "Jean" Wallace; parents, John H. and Lillian E. Jenkins Wallace; grandson, Harley S. Wallace III; brothers, John H., Jr. and James C. Wallace; nephews, Richard Scales, Galen Wallace, and James E. Belle; great-nephew, Teyon Scales. Survived by loving and devoted children, daughters, Stacey H. Wallace and Shirley M. Price; sons, Harley S. (Carla) Wallace, Jr. and Dwayne R. (Tamara) Price; brother, William Wallace; sisters, Ellen Davis and Alice Belle; brothers-in-law, Mack (Peggy) Price, Lawrence Price, and Ervin (Martha) Raleigh; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Allen, Linda Evans, and Lucille Price; grandchildren, Patrick, Kevin, Shaniqua, Shannon and Shaquanika Parks, Jeran Crockett, Jemair Humphrey, Victoria and Teyon Latimore, Mychale-Jai and Michael, Jr. Pleasant, Khaliyah Wallace; great-grandchild, Patriana; special nieces, Cecelia "Rabbit" Gilbert, Kelly and Helen Belle, Bonita and Deborah Wallace, Jacqueline Price, Carmen Cook, Carol Taylor, and Yvonne, Shevonne, and Cherry Clark; special nephews, Timothy Price, Joseph Allen, William Belle, John Wallace III, Edward Wallace, Craig Sullivan; closest friends and neighbors, Gloria Anderson, Connie Hampton, the Jennings family, the Thomas family, Carol Martin, Maxine Clark, Robert Humphrey, Leslie "Les" William, Sr., and the Anheuser Busch family; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. A very special Thank you to Ernest "Boss" White for all his support, dedication, and love shown to our family during our time of need. Homegoing Celebration 2 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2005 at Setting Free Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, 3567 1st. Ave., Urbancrest, OH. Pastor John H. Wallace, officiating. Mr. Wallace will lie in state at the church beginning at 12Noon and the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of service. Interment 12Noon, Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements by J. MARTIN SMITH MORTUARY, 1173 E. Hudson St., 447-9383.
