Harvey E. Kirk Jr.

Kirk Harvey E. Kirk, Jr., age 66, of Canal Winchester, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, February 2, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Mary Ann Kirk and first wife Ruth E. Kirk. Survived by wife, Sharon (Curnutte) Kirk, and her family, brothers, Dan (Delores) Widdifield, Jim Curnutte, Glen (Priscilla) Curnutte, Rick (Leah) Curnutte; sisters, Sharon Schall, Debbie (Jim) Chuvalas, and Dottie Jean (Marc) Runck. Also survived by many nieces, and nephews. Graduated from Whitehall Yearling High School in 1968. Current member of Pickerington Nazarene Church and former member of Reynoldsburg and Whitehall Nazarene. He retired from the State of Ohio Dept. of Transportation as a bridge inspector in 1997. Harvey had many intests, bird watching, he was Santa at many annual holiday events, and he enjoyed spending time with his numerous nieces and nephews. Harvey loved gospel musicl and his favorite group was Three Bridges from Nashville, Tennessee. His family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Pickerington Church of the Nazarene, 11775 Pickerington Road, Pickerington. Pastors Phil Manson and Bill Vinson officiating.
