Helen Berger Obituary

Berger Helen Mae Berger (Byington), of Columbus, passed on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. Last year, she was able to celebrate her 90th birthday with her entire family. She was preceded in death by parents Thomas and Mabel Byington, loving husband of 49 years Frank C. Berger. She is survived by her children, Carolyn (Tom) Carter, Frank (Mary) Berger, and Diana (Dave) Ferguson; brother, Thomas Earl (Amy) Byington; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Helen is also survived by her dear friend, Bob Armbrust. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Kobacker House c/o Ohio Health Foundation. Family will receive visitors at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville, from 11 a.m.-12 noon on Saturday, where a brief service will follow. Burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. My sincere sympathy to the Berger Family. Helen was a dear friend from the Gilley Center. I have such wonderful memories of Helen, especially going to the Amvets on Friday nights with our special guys.
