1922 - 2021
Helen Lucille Thivener, age 98, of Westerville, passed away on April 19, 2021. She was born on August 2, 1922 to the late Robert and Sarah (Hall) Wooten in Thivener, Ohio. She was a warm hearted and loving person. Helen is survived by son, Raymond (Carole) Thivener; grandchildren, David Thivener, Laurie Carney and Aimee (Andrew) Ball; great grandchildren, Joshua Butcher, Alex and Tia Thivener, Bram and Ella Carney, Micah, Ethan and Emily-Rose Moore. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Owen Thivener, son Ronald Thivener and 11 siblings Gordon, Everett, Goldie, Tommy, Raymond, Ethel, Billy, Carl, Carol, Clara Mae and Phyllis. Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 5-7pm. Funeral service on Friday at the funeral home at 1pm. Burial to follow at Fairview Memorial Park, Lewis Center, OH. Message of condolence may be shared with the family at www.NewcomerColumbus.com

Lucey is a very sweet and loving person with a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eyes. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her. May God keep her free from pain and sorrow.
