A year? In ways it seems much longer and in other ways I realize that hardly a day goes by without my smiling at something Helen Mae and I did together that was just yesterday in my heart!

Despite the passing of time there is basically never a day that goes by without my being grateful for a life long friendship between Helen and I and now I can add to that--BEYOND " life" friendship! Nancie

Almost no day has gone by in my whole lifetime when Helen has not been part of my life--continues to this very anniversary. Thank you for remembering me as I remember LOVE personified, Helen!

Mrs. Turner was my English teacher at Dominion, in 1961/1962.
I'm so sorry that I waited too long to thank her for her getting me interested in proper English communication. I was just a poor "hick" from Crooksville OH, and had no interest in English Grammar, until she inspired me with the lost art diagramming sentences. Her approach showed me how adjectives/adverbs/etc enhance dialog.
My best to her family, and especially any who chose to pursue teaching "hicks", who needed English skills to pursue their future dreams.

I have just learned of the passing of a friend of mine from SME Church, SHS, JD #5, OSU, and weddings (hers and mine). Helen and Chuck are my son's Godparents. Only the faith we learned as kids and shared all our lives consoles me. May it be so for each of you!
