To all the Hutchinson's;
My deepest sympathy goes out to you all. It has been many years since we were all kids growing up on Berwyn Road but I remember being around your dad and what a great man he was. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Howdy was one of the kindest, warmest, most down-to-earth people we've had the honor of knowing. I loved, just this Autumn, hearing his vivid memory of meeting Marilyn and how the Lord orchestrated their relationship early on and throughout their lives. Thank you for sharing Howdy with us. Yesterday, Ash Weds., reminded me that before long loved ones will be together, forever.

Hi Marilyn- Mike and I are sorrowed to hear of Howdy's death. He certainly put up a valiant fight. He was such a strong man through all of this. I am sure that he is in a better place now, looking down proudly at all of his family. God bless you, Marilyn, in the days to come. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all of the family.

I was a member of Troop 28 at North Broadway Methodist Church for quite awhile. Even though through time we drifted away from each other I remember him as being a good friend, a great leader and an outstanding Scout. He will be missed but cretainly remembered in my prayers. Heaven just got a Great Scout.

Dear Marilyn,
We all share in the emptiness and sorrow without Howdy. All the lives he touched were better simply because he was there. His life though, was in his family and with God, as I am sure you felt.
Howard was my partner, my friend and my mentor. In a world confused in its direction he stood tall in his compassion, morality and ethics, like no one else in my life. I am lost in my tangible access to him but am confident that Howdy has comfort with his maker and I stand stronger as a human based on what he taught me.
My family and I prayed for Howdy and now our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I am forever indebted to you and your children for the time I was allowed to share with Howdy. Please call if there is anything I can help with.
Heavens a lucky place, may god bless you and your family.

Hi Aunt Marilyn, Family and Mom Laudick, although, I'm thousands of miles away at this moment you all are in my heart and on mind....May your hearts always be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times you all shared with Uncle Howdy as I have. Although, my visits with him was short I believe it was filled with quality, life and love. He was such a gentle, handsome and humble man through my eyes. I met him the day before I got married to my wonderful loving husband Thomas Laudick. Uncle Howdy was a joy, full of love for family, always smiling and shared encouraging words and happiness for both of us as we journey into our marriage. I immediately felt welcomed and loved by him. note: my wedding guests were intrigued by his presence...they thought I invited Donald Rumsfeld...lol Thank you for the memories, I'll never forget you.
Love,
Erma Laudick

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I cut Howard's hair for many years at Nini's Barber Shop in Upper Arlington. His love of family was the topic of many of our great conversations throughout the years. He always had a sesce of peace and calmness about him even through his illness. I am greatful to have known him and his gentle way. May your special memories of him be a comfort to all of you at this difficult time.

My dearest condolences for the entire HUTCH family. I am so sorry to hear that we lost our dear Howdy. Every time I think of him a smile comes to my face! I am so grateful that I was a childhood friend of Katy's and that I was a child learning and growing in your loving home. Howdy was like a father to me and I am so sorry to hear of your loss. The heavens are rejoicing to have him up there laughing and smiling down on all of us who have lost a great Dad and friend. My prayers are with you all.

On February 16 2009 I met Howard for the first time. I was his nurse at the hospital. I soon learned what a wonderful, caring, and strong man Howard was. Over the next few days I had the opportunity to meet several members of his family. It soon became apparent what a loved and remarkable man Howard was. Over the next 2 days he and his family had to make many very difficult decisions. They made their decisions as a family and with considerable love. It was so obvious to me what a wonderful, respected and loved man he was. I am thankful that our heavenly father had given me the chance to meet and to spend time with such a special person. May God bless you Howard and may you rest in peace. Marilyn, I will keep you and your family in prayers.

Dearest Marilyn,
Our hearts are heavy today as we share in your sorrow. Indeed it is impossible to think of Howdy without thinking of his warmth and smile. The two of you have played an important part in our lives. You showed us what it means to care for others, to extend kindness and love.
Praise God we will all be together in eternity. May you all find comfort from our Lord as you rest in His love for you. With fond affection,
Bill and Claudia
