Jacob Nuber Obituary

Nuber Jacob Jesse "Jake" Nuber, 82, of Columbus, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016. Jake was born in Columbus, OH to the late Jacob John and Theresa (Woodruff) Nuber and is also preceded in death by granddaughter Jennifer Duke and two sisters Mary Gygi and Shirley Nuber. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 66 years, Dolores (Krafft) Nuber; daughters, Sheila (Thomas) Szabo and Vicky (Thomas) Duke; sons, Jacob and Nickolas Nuber; sister, Dorothy (L.G.) Casey; grandchildren, Aaron, Adam and Adrian Szabo, Amber (Joey) Orchard, Courtney Nuber, Brittany (Justin) Salyers, Michael (Alisha) Duke and Sara (Robert Sneed) Duke; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; many nieces, nephews and friends. Jake retired from Myers Surveying Company with over 30 years of service, was a lifetime member of Loyal Order of Moose #11 where he achieved the Pilgrim Degree of Merit.
