I had the good fortune to work with Jim at the Columbus Public Schools where he greatly impacted many students. He also affected me personally with his very wise counsel. May he rest in peace for a job well done.

Jim was one of my favorite cousins. Him mom, my great-Aunt Dorothy, always had funny stories to tell about him and his brothers. A special time was when I was a Spanish teacher at Walnut Ridge HS and Jim was my principal. I can still see him in the school cafeteria, in the serving line--learning students' first names as he dished up spaghetti for them! A truly special guy. Rest in peace, from you 2nd cousin.

I had the pleasure of being a student and athlete at Dominion Jr. High under "Mr." James Boster. He certainly exhibited a zeal and excitement in the Class Room and on the Track that was experienced by myself and all that surrounded.

A special person and my sympathies to his family.

It was my good fortune and pleasure to share my experiences as a Columbus Public School administrator with Jim Boster. He was a fine professional educator who you could always depend on to do what was best for kids. Not only was he a fine professional but a man with a terrific sense of humor. I enjoyed many professional experiences with Jim and join all in celebrating a very meaningful and special life.
