JB- You and I were in class together often, home room, and your house just down the street. I want to thank you for always being a warm kind person. I cannot say I returned the favor in our youth. I am sorry for that, and have looked forward to our reuniting to talk again as adults. JB you were a leader and represented everything I think of when I imagine a leader- honest, kind, warm, giving and tolerant. Thank you for being you and showing the rest of us teenagers how to be kind. We were not always kind to each other, and you were the exception. I apologize for not recognizing your unique value when we were so young. What a great human being. JB DOBBS! OK, one last time like the old days- "JAAAA BEEE"! Sincerely, with love D. Fry '88

Dear Dobbs Family. We were in California for a family event the weekend of JB's death. Adam was with us, and upon his return told us he read about JB's passing on Facebook. We wish we could have shared in the tremendous outpouring of love shown him at his funeral service. We will continue to say prayers in honor of your family and his memory. Fondly, Tom and Laurie Hill

Dear Dobbs family,
JB was the type of person that once you meet him, you'll never forget him. He was one of the nicest, sweetest and most gentle person I've ever known. Although I didn't know him that long, he will always be remembered for being a one-of-a-kind person. So sad to hear of his passing but am rejoicing that he is in Heaven with Our Father. God Bless you all as you go through this difficult time.
With Love,
