James Potter Obituary
James Potter, died August 9, 2017, age 83. James was a member of the Columbia Heights United Methodist Church, The Sons of the American Revolution and The Mayflower Society. He is survived by sisters, Helen Stewart, Penn Yan, NY, Martha Chambers (Douglas) Columbus, OH, Mary Jean (Richard) Riethmiller, Pagosa Springs, CO; an aunt, Barbara Pease, Honolulu, Hawaii; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Potter and Jessie Pease Potter. A memorial service will be held at Columbia Heights United Methodist Church, 775 Galloway Road, Galloway, OH 43119 at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 26. The family will receive guests at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Columbia Heights United Methodist Church or Humanitarian Aid Fund at Xenos, 1340 Community Park Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43229. Cremation services provided by JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 West Broad St., Columbus.
