Dear Mrs Joyce McKinley Robinson, I am deeply saddened to learn of your loss. Please know that I have been forever grateful for your gifts as my Mentor, piano Teacher and Choir Director of the St.Johns Church Choralettes. I hope that my message assures you of the depth of the cherished love and honor I have held in my heart for you, always. Both of you have accomplished so much together. And I will always remember you both as strong and as beautiful as you were to me then. May God continue to Bless you.

Jim was my greatest friend. Over the years we worked and played together and I'm just sorry I wasn't near during his final days. But, I am left with lots of good memories. Joyce and Sherrie, my thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family.

Earth has no sorrow which Heaven cannot heal. Jim Robinson was the Man of Columbus when it came to speech. He spoke, we listened. Jim, I will see you in the morning.

Praying for peace for you, Sherri - I know this is hard. Have no regrets, my friend, you were the best daughter he could've asked for and more. Also know that your earthly Father is now in peace, especially because he knew you were in good hands with Butch. Love you much, and I'm here for anything you need.

I was saddened to hear that one of the Great Mr. Robinson in Columbus has passed. Many in Columbus know of his work as an activist and a source of inspiration for Blacks in Columbus with his "Rich Black Thoughts" series on WVKO.

Mr. Robinson was truly a genuine person. I will never forget the times (plural) when I purposely made a reason for him to call the office so I could answer the phone to hear him speak. He had the "ORIGINAL"..... GOLDEN VOICE.
I pray that God heals all the hurt and pain at this time of need. Know that God does not make mistakes. I love you all and I'm praying for healing.

I'm very sad to hear about the passing of MR. Robinson, he was truly a very kind, caring and very special person, who will be missed on all levels.
Mr. Robinson always had words of wisdom to help one thru the day. His strong love for wanting things to be right for all people was one of his greatest qualities. His love for his family and kids was always at the top of his heart.
To the family just know that God has called him home, its time for Jim to rest, no more pain and no more sorrow.
Rest in peace my brother and know that I will truly miss you.
City of Columbus.
