I am so very saddened that I just recently found out about Jamie's passing. I was googling her to see where she was working now and her obituary came up. This took my breath away, I wish I could've been there to pay my respects to her family. I met Jamie back in 2002 while we were both attending A.I.A.M. After Jamie decided massage therapy wasn't for her we still kept touch over the years. I am so glad that we did. Jamie was a wonderful person with a infectious laugh-I'll always remember how she'd scrunch her nose up before she would snicker. There was just something about her. I will hold dear in my heart all the memories I have of her for the rest of my days. My sincerest condolences to her family, friends and those blessed to have know her. Until we meet again my dear friend!

Jamie had been my stylist for only a short time but in our meetings we told each other details of our whole life stories. She was so easy to talk to such a kind heart. I am sad to know I will not get to have those special moments with her, she was like my therapist and also a friend. She was a free spirit and she loved her family. She gave my mom a free haircut when I told her how she needed some major style help. She gave me free products for my daughter. When I finished my first service with her I remember she asked me how much I wanted to pay and I made her give me a number and she asked if that was fair. What stylist does that?!? I knew she was a keeper. God bless her husband and kids, I hope u all know she truly cared for you all even in her darkest of times.

I am in complete shock and disbelief to hear of the loss of such a special person. Though we didn't stay in touch over the recent years, Jamie was always on my mind and in my heart. I have nothing but fond memories of the years we worked together. She became a very close friend and someone who made a special impression on my heart. I feel so sad for Ben and for her children to miss out on their future with such a great person. My thoughts and prayers extend to all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

My daughter and I loved Jamie from the first day we met her. Such a brilliant light her soul shined. We followed her over the past few years during her changes in salons. We became friends as well. Jamie asked for my address once and mailed me a small gift when I was going through difficult times. She always had a smile, hug and loving words to offer. I will miss her so much but I will absoluyely be certain that she is another Angel for all who knew her.

I met Jamie while she was at Kenneths and pregnant with Avani. I had been searching for a stylist for over a year, and she and I clicked immediately. We discussed our love of children, our love of fresh veggies and a healthy lifestyle. We decided to be come friends outside of our "hair" friendship and we did photoshoots together and were super silly together.

Ill miss you my darling friend, your smile and heart were so big and infectious. I will forever hear your laugh, and smile when i i think of your big heart. I hope you are at peace dear friend. I miss you so much.

I met Jamie on an amazing kayaking journey this Summer. While taking a break from rowing to swim a bit, a friend of Jamie's floated by in a canoe. They chatted for a minute and the friend floated on. That's when Jamie realized she had lost her glasses in the river! I swam over to where Jamie was talking to her friend and started feeling around on the bottom of the river. Jamie was upset, there was no way for her to drive home without her glasses. I was fumbling around feeling rocks, mud, and fish poop when I felt something different. I lifted this non-organic thing out of the murky water and shouted, "I found your glasses!"
Jamie started crying with joy and hugging me. We stood there hugging and crying for what seemed like forever.
I think that was the most amazing kayaking trip I have ever been on. Since then Jamie has cut my hair and we've shared short stories here and there. We planned on collecting heart shaped rocks for Debbie's wedding and planning other awesome kayaking trips, but I was going to get her one of those really "awesome" looking straps for her glasses.
I miss her. I loved meeting her and getting to know her, and thinking of future events with her. She was wonderful. I will miss her.
I send my love to all of her family.
