Jane Palmer Obituary

Palmer Jane "Popcorn" Palmer, 79, London, died Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Madison County Hospital. Born August 1, 1935 in Blanchester, Ohio; she was a daughter of Lewis and Mae (Wilson) Fleming. Jane had formerly managed Davis Seed and had also worked for White Tiger Graphics. She loved bingo, sewing and playing cards. Survivors include her daughters, Beverly Swank, Dixie Tier and Betty (George) Peyton; son, Nelson Palmer; grandchildren, Mike Ferguson, Henry Swank and Emily Swank; great granddaughter, Rylie; several nieces, nephews and special friends, Maxine and Carl. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack R. Palmer, brothers Junior Fleming, Ed Fleming and sister Nancy McClaskie. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 3, 2014 in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London. Interment will follow at Somerford Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2014. The family suggests memorial donations to AMVETS Post #19, P.O. Box 21, London. I loved her smile and the way she told it like it was. She helped the humane society by sewing and other things. I will miss Betty updating me on what was going on with her mom and of course her famous Buckeyes.
