You would´ve been 72 today, Mom. There´s not a single day that goes by where I don´t think about you, or so wish I could just call you and hear your voice again. I tell my wife so much about you and how close we were. I only wish you could´ve met her! She has such a big loving heart, just as you did. I miss you so much. Until I see you again and I can hug you.

Janet was one of the sweetest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. She and my mother worked together for years at The Kroger Company. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word to share. She was spunky, a fighter, a wonderful woman. She was always concerned about others...even when she was the one everyone else was concerned about. She will be missed. Her infectious, loving, bubbly spirit will never be forgotten. We'll miss you! But God wanted you with Him.

To all of Janet's family - I'm so very sorry for your loss. I know you'll miss her greatly. Janet was an example of how to live life to the fullest. She flourished in God's blessings and good times, openly expressed her love to family and friends, and accepted her trials with as much humor and grace as anyone I've ever known. I'm so lucky to have known her.

Years ago, Bill and I ran into Janet out shopping with friends on Black Friday, she had an "elf" hat on, a cup of coffee in her hand and a smile on her face! She was one of those people that just made you smile. This is how we will remember her. Ron, you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Janet, I had the privilege of working with you for the past 27 years and in that time I grew to love you more each day, just as I'm sure everyone who was lucky enough to know you felt the same. I listened to a Collin Raye song, "Love Remains" and it forever will remind me of you. Even now, your love remains with your family and friends. Rest in peace, dear, sweet Janet. You were, and are, a bright light in this world, and I feel a little sorry for those who never met you.

I lit a pink candle in honor of Janet's fight with breast cancer. She was such an inspiration to all that have suffered with this terrible disease. I've known Janet and her family since the days of RYF, and I can't ever recall a time that she was not smiling and laughing the way only Janet could laugh. It was very contagious. We will miss her.

Janet was a great neighbor and friend to me and my girls for several years before we moved to Florida. She was generous and kind and my youngest daughter always considered her a second mom. We sat out in cold and rainy weather watching Kelle and Jennifer cheer while Kyle played football. Janet and I spent many evenings in my kitchen at Oakbrook drinking pot after pot of coffee and laughing at life. I loved her laugh! It was contagious. She was a true angel on earth. My deepest condolences to Ronnie, Matt, Kyle and Jennifer.
