Janet C. Teachnor

Teachnor Janet Cleveland Teachnor, age 84, of Columbus, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Graduate of The Ohio State University where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority and Delta Omicron Honorary Music Sorority. Retired in1981 from teaching. Member Broad St. Presbyterian Church and Junior League of Columbus. Preceded in death by parents Galen and Janet Teachnor, cousins Katharine Sharp Ingalls, William C. Sharp Sr., Stephen Sharp, Patti Teachnor Carmichael, Wells Teachnor and aunt Martha Teachnor Paul. Survived by cousins, William Teachnor Paul M.D., Carey Paul Sr. M.D., David Ingalls, Katharine Ingalls Buckham, Margaret Ingalls Schick, Mary Anne Ingalls Baum, William C. Sharp Jr., and Susan Sharp Carr. Family will receive friends 1-3 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the SCHOEDINGER MIDTOWN CHAPEL, 229 East State St., with a funeral service following at 3 p.m. with Rev. Ann Palmerton officiating.
