Jean Ann Cavarozzi

Cavarozzi (Gasbarro) Jean Ann (Gasbarro) Cavarozzi, age 81, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015, at The Forum at Knightsbridge. Preceded in death by husband Joseph and parents Thomas and Genevieve Henson. Survived by her three loving children, Rock (Dena) Gasbarro and their children, Alexa Rae, Rocky, Alio, Marino and Anthony Gasbarro; Tracie Gasbarro (and cousin, Nikki); Vincent Gasbarro and his children, Mario, Gianni and Elia Gasbarro; and their father, Alio Joseph Gasbarro; step-children, Jane (Kara) Cavarozzi and Chris (Karen) Cavarozzi. So generous and kind, Jean was a friend to many and loved by all. But Jean was never more proud of being called "Mom" and "Gammy." In Jean's early years, she modeled locally and in New York. She co-starred in the 50s TV Show, "Gene's Canteen." Jean also starred in a show where she showed the latest fashions. One of Jean's passions was her research and knowledge of homeopathic medicine which helped so many sick people. A victim of dementia, the family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio, 1378 Dublin Road, Columbus 43215. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses of The Forum at Knightsbridge for their kindness and care of Jean. Friends and family can join her children at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus, on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral 11 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2015 at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel (within the grounds of St. Joseph Cemetery), 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, with entombment to follow service.
