Jeanne Hudak Obituary

HUDAK Jeanne Heuser Hudak, June 6, 1920 - May 29, 2006. Born in St. Louis, Mo. on June 6, 1920 of Fredrick Heuser and Sarah Smith Heuser who preceded her in death along with her sister Elizabeth and brother Fredrick. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, John P. Hudak, M.D. Jeanne graduated from Washington University, St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science degree. She received her R.N. and was commissioned an Ensign in the United States Navy where she served as a Navy nurse. She and John raised their family in Cleveland, Oh., where she was active in scouting and was a member of the Scouts on Stamps Society. After retirement, John and Jeanne resided in Columbus, Oh. and Naples, Fla. Jeanne leaves a loving family including her children and sons and daughter-in-law, Clara Hudak (John Roach) of Columbus, Ohio; John Jr. (Lilia) of Cleveland, Ohio; Elizabeth Hudak and Mark Hudak of Naples, Florida and Susan Hudak (Gerald Kavulic) of Cleveland, Ohio. Jeanne was always proud of her children and grandchildren, Elizabeth Roach, Michael, Michelle and Katie Kavulic and Daniel Gallman. They are her living legacy. There will be a Memorial Mass Monday, June 26 at 1 p.m. at St. Leo The Great, 4940 Broadview Road, Cleveland. Arrangements by EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME.
