Dear Godwin Family,
Our thoughts are with you in your time of loss. When my brothers and I get together and talk about our childhood, the Godwin name is frequently mentioned. Just the other day, Chris and I toured the old neighborhood, sneaking into the back door at Eastmoor, looking at the pictures and talking about our school days. Lisa, Jeff, Cindy & Rex all have threads that are woven into the lives of the Valley family. Your loss is shared by us and all the others who have been touched by Jeff & your family. You share a very special place in my heart. You married my best friend Tina and had Miranda together, which she is growing into a wonderful, loving young woman. I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Though it seems so long ago, I have some great childhood memories of spending time with Lisa, Jeff, Cindy (Rex and Adam at the time), and Ms. Linda. I laugh thinking of Lisa pulling Jeff's ears, fishing hooks, protecting him, loving him, and loving those who cared for him. I remember Jeff being calm and cool under pressure (like his mother), cheshire grins, a good heart, a great guy. So many were touched by knowing him and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May God bless and help ease your pain.

Jeff the last time I saw you was when Big Bear on East Main Street was going out of business. You were buying a lot of deoderant. HEE HEE It was great seeing you then. It is sad that GOD wanted you so early in your life. But now you can watch over Jeremy and Maranda as they grow up and achive all their goals in life.
