A wonderful man and the first to befriend my husband when he moved here from Omaha and an 'adopted' uncle to our kids. We will truly miss him.

Deepest sympathy to the McCarty family in the loss of this precious life. Jerry was always known for his musical abilities-singing, and playing the guitar harmonica, and piano. He and his mother Juanita were an inspirational beautiful duet at many church events. Now they are singing together in God's choir...no doubt being still a special duet. I see Jerry's Dad watching, smiling, and tapping along with them. May you remember with a smile, a tear, a laugh all of the precious memories you have made in this life with Jerry. Patrick, I recall you saying something that few can state....and that is that you can live without regrets, without needing to say that you wished you would have, should have, could have told him something. You shared openly with him your deep love and pride as your father....and, always telling him on each phone call--"I love you." May God comfort you in your loss.
