Jessie Lee Bryant, age 90, of Columbus, passed Sunday, January 7, 2018. A 1945 graduate of East High School and former member of Trinity Baptist Church, she retired from Grant Medical Center after 30 years of service. Predeceased by husband Robert Bryant, daughter Brenda, and brother Eddie McAfee. Survived by children, William (Carol), Charles Sr. (Veronica), and Robin Lynn Bryant; sister-in-law, Beverly McAfee; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, The Hillmon Family, and a host of other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2018 in the chapel of DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long St., where her family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the start of service. Pastor Victor M. Davis, officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Jessie, I will miss most your beautiful, inviting smile. Charlie, Bill & Robin, you have my condolences on the passing of your mom. She is now in heaven having a big family reunion with the rest of the Bryant, McAfee and Hillmon families.
