When I was a child in the 1950s she was our next door neighbor. I loved her very much.

I will miss JoAnn. She was an excellent bridge player. I always enjoyed being her partner at our many bridge clubs we shared.
She remembered every card played. What a lovely lady.

How to best describe my Mom? Compassionate, adventurous, independent, nonjudgmental? All true.
Everyone who ever had the honor of knowing her will have their own way of describing this grand lady. For myself, I know her as Mom, a person who unconditionally loved her family. Mom was always there for us. Personally, she helped me through some of the worst times of my life. It should be noted she also celebrated some of the best times in my life. She opened up worlds and ideas that will always be a part of me. I believe she gave me my love for nature at an early age and there is little doubt my adult beliefs were influenced by her. She was a mother who was always there for each member of her family with encouragement, support and love. I'm betting she was the same way to her friends as well. I believe everyone who was part of her life can tell you how she impacted and added value to their lives.
Her family now has to continue this life without her. However, she will always be with us in our hearts and in our memories. I personally will miss our weekly conversations. Regardless of what we talked about, the calls would always end the same way. I love you Mom. I love you too.
Your son, Reynold

I just saw the notice today. We have known Jo through our friend, Shirley Orth. We all had trailers at Lost Hollow, along with Bob and Jo Canright.
Lots of good fun and memories.
You have our sympathy.

I only knew Mrs. Price for the last 10 yrs of her life but I came to admire and love her over those years. Even tho I was her petsitter, she always showed an interest in my life and we enjoyed exchanging our individual histories over the years. Her courage and persistence in the face of several serious medical challenges were an inspiration to me but I also admired her marvelous brain. As recently as 3 weeks ago, I had recommended a book to her and instead of waiting for me to bring her the hardback, she downloaded it onto her Kindle! Then she went on to discuss an aspect of the book that had completely escaped me. She loved her sweet boy cat Sunny and I know she missed him in her recent return to Wesley Glen. I will carry the picture of her playing bridge with her longtime friends in her sweet little house in early December. I'll miss you Mrs. P, hope you get to read all the books you missed here and have reunited with some of your bridge partners. Here's some hugs I forgot to give you :)
