My sincere condolences to John's entire family. I knew John from our days in the fraternity at Ohio State. John seemed larger than life and always had a smile. He took time with me as a newer member in our fraternity house. I have not seen him in a long time but miss him just the same.

I offer my sincere condolences to the Bowers family. I was very saddened to hear of John's passing this past week. I was a friend and fraternity brother of "Bucks" at Beta Theta Pi at The Ohio State University. John's gregarious personality made it easy for him to become friends with almost anyone he came in contact with. I wish I lived closer to be with you all to celebrate John's life and also mourn his passing. I will carry very fond memories of our time together and will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
