We remember your Father with kindness and a sense of enjoyment, he was a scholar who was able to socialize with students and be compassionate as well as, scholarly. A brilliant mind and sweet disposition. Thinking about him and looked on the net and found his obituary, Thanks Dr. Curtis.

To the family of John Curtis,
I was a fellow graduate student and lecturer with John at Ohio State in the period 1969-76. While we often disagreed over religion and politics, I considered John a good friend and was impressed with his biblical scholarship. Not many people could publish papers in Biblical Studies simultaneous with completing a Ph.D. in physics! Please accept my condolences.
