John G. Gost

Gost John G. Gost, age 91, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016. Former owner of Gost's Mens Wear in Mt. Vernon, OH. He was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Preceded in death by his son George Gost. Survived by his wife of 49 years, Toula; daughter, Dr. Dena Gost; sister, Madeleine Constantine of New York; cousins, Tasia Bizios, John Bizios and Francie Henry; numerous other siblings and relatives in Greece. The funeral service will be Friday 11 a.m. at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 555 N. High St., where friends may call 1 hour prior to the service. Father Demetrios Gardikes officiating. Interment to follow at Mound View Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ohio Cancer Research, 50 W. Broad St., Ste. 1132, Columbus, OH 43215.
