Ms. Joan and Family, I am sorry for your loss and pray for comfort. John and I grew up in Jackson and we spent many days enjoying our childhood together. I lost touch with him but he was always remembered as I visit Jackson or traveling to a Buckeye football game. Ms. Joan you are a part of my life that will always be cherished and your son will always be a part as well. I will see my "Buddy" one day. Prayers to all...

It is not easy to travel this road but no one has a choice. We endure and with God's help we make it through. Memories flood our minds and will continue as God helps us along. Thinking of the family with love and prayers. Cordially Vivian Bevins

Kris,
Thanks for sending the message to me. I know that was quite difficult. I knew John since starting out at University of Rio Grande and then onto The Ohio State University. Going through liver disease and transplant process, John was great for listening and providing guidance. He would always offer prayers. Going through college, we were weight lifting partners, @ 6am each morning. We really had some good times in Chemistry class. John gave me tickets for the "Rush Counterparts" tour in Cincinnati. Kris, I really wish I could say something that would make it all better...I really do. I'm going to miss my best friend from college.
John always loved Easter - his reason - Jesus died for us. How eerie the timing of his death - right before Easter.
Hang in there Kris. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

My condolences to the family of John ... Taken so early in life from Kris and sons. I enjoyed his star gazing postings, and especially his laugh at work. Rest In Peace John
