John Huffman Obituary

HUFFMAN John D. Huffman, 88, of Darbyville, OH, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2005 at Berger Hospital, Circleville. Born December 23, 1916 in Cleveland Co., NC to the late G.L. and Leona L. Hayes Huffman. Retired as Master Mechanic with Ohio Operating Engineers and a Veteran of WWII. Survived by children, Mike (Helen) Huffman, Orient, OH., Pat (Vicki) Huffman, Columbus, OH., and Kathy Sommers, MN.; brother, Bill "Ike" (Barbara) Huffman, Shelby, NC.; 6 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2005 at the Darbyville Community Church, Darbyville, OH with Rev. Denver Peters officiating. Friends may call 1 hour prior to service at the church. Interment Darbyville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Darbyville Community Church, Main St., Darbyville, OH. 43164. Arrangements by OLIVER FUNERAL HOME, Ashville, OH.
