John and Joann were like a second set of wonderful parents to me when I was in college and roommates with Julie. Their loving kind spirits and generosity were so evident and they were so much FUN too. It has been an honor to know them both. My deepest prayers are with you Joann, Jay, Julie & family as you adjust to his loss in your physical lives but I know he'll be with you in spirit. I rejoice as I know you are that he's now enjoying even sweeter communion with the Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit. All my love.

To JoAnn and family, my deepest sympathies on your loss. If ever I saw a man live out his faith it was John. I had the privilege of being with John on two of his many "Ramp" projects and I know he has heard the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
