Joe Endry was a dedicated educator and class act. I worked for "Mr Endry" for several years when he was the Principal of RHS. As I advanced in my own administrative career I like to think his style was reflected in my work. I know that was my goal.

I first knew Mr. Endry in the mid 60's as the tall, somewhat intimidating principal at Reynoldsburg High School who could fix you with a dangerous glare that would in a moment turn to a grin and twinkling eyes that would engulf his whole face. I got to know him better a couple of years later as the father of Mark, his oldest child, who I came to admire very much and, therefore, must also admire his father and mother. Mark has the same grin. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Am sorry to hear about Mr. Endry's passing. I enjoyed his humor as a friend of my mother's, his presence at high school when I was a student, him as the father of good friends David and Carol, and as a client. He set a high bar that is sorely lacking today in education and personal conduct. Even my husband, who was frequently in trouble during his high school years, said that he greatly respected Mr. Endry and that he was a fair and honorable man. They don't make them like that any more, I'm afraid. God BLess him and the Endry family.

Joe was always a gentleman and one who truly cared about the students of Reynoldsburg. I had David in class and knew Joe from that association and from my time of coaching track at the High School. We have lost a wonderful man.

To Joe's family, sorry for your loss. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us that God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope, may that bring you comfort at this difficult time.
