I remember when I first met you in high school in our construction class. I remember you cracking jokes and I would always laugh at the silly things you would say, but you would be so serious and funny at the same time. We became cool and it was always nothing but love when we say each other. After high school I always used to wonder how you were doing and when I found out you passed it hurt my heart to hear that. You were one of the coolest people I knew in high school and you will forever be missed and loved. Fly high my G!

Joe I have so much to say though I'm lost for words... I think about you often and will always continue to keep you and your family in my prayers. Today is a sad day just as many other days. I have soooo many memories and I thank God each day for every one of them. And for blessing me and my family to be able to meet such a loving, caring, sharing, kind, and always LOYAL friend like you! Not only were you a close friend, but you were my brother/ big bro. May you continue to shine your light and love down on us your( Mother) children, friends and family. I look up to the sky Lord knows it's so hard not to cry.I know you're in heaven watching over us. Loving you forever and always, your lil sis Zee

It hurts my heart to hear this joe... but god makes no mistakes. I pray for you and your family and hope you are resting peacefully in heaven.. I have known you since the 7th grade..we grew up in the same neighborhood and this news was really hard to take.. may god bless your soul and sprit. Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. In Columbus, we meet monthly to support each other in our grief and love of our children. Our meetings are from 7-9 PM on the second Tuesday of each month at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1479 Morse Rd, Columbus, OH 43229.
