Dearest Eadie
Please accept my sincere sympathy on the loss of your husband, Joe, who everyone knew and loved. I know you are feeling an overwhelming grief at his passing.
Our faith is so important at a time like this. When things seem so hopeless and out of control, we know that with God's help we will make it through difficult times.
I am praying that God will give you the hope and strength you need. Your strong family bonds will also help in coping with life with Joe in Heaven and no longer here with you all.
In Faith & Friendship,
Brad Thomas

A special man like Joe lives on in our memories forever. A veteran, a railroader, a Christian, a wonderful man. I will miss you Joe. But you have the best camp site now - heaven. Peace be with you dear friend.....

I wish I had the right words to share the wonderful feelings I have about Papaw, but I don't, so I'll share some of the memories I will always carry with me. Waiting up late for him to come home from work, hat in hand and a welcoming who-whoo...darts (sorry for all the holes in your paneling)...pool (you teaching me how to play let me shock the hell out of my husband the night we got engaged)...cold Genesee in the fridge, grape and devil costumes, taking care of Gran...those are but a few of the memories, but are ones I will cherish always. I love you and I'll see you on the flip side. Nikki

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched.
They must be felt with the heart.
You are sorely missed, but will never be forgotten.
Where you are, the fishing is good, you always win at horseshoes, and the Genesee is cold.
God bless you.
Love always from Fritz, Edwina, and all the kids.

Sorry to hear about Joe. I worked with him many times many years ago. He was a real hoot to be around. I've missed him at our RR lunches at Bob Evans. Another greatest generation soul has passed on. Thanks for your service Joe.
