Joseph Lasko Obituary
Joseph "Joey" A. Lasko, II, was born April 4, 1963 and passed away March 31, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph A Lasko. Joe was a 1981 graduate at Bloom-Carroll High School and worked for Columbus Sign Company for the past 34 years. The family expresses their deepest gratitude to Joe's Columbus Sign family who have loved and supported him for so many years. Anyone who knew Joe knew of his artistic talent and his passion for movies and reading. Spending time with family was important to Joe, especially gatherings with his extended family. Joe is survived by his mother, Judith (Carol) Lasko, brother, Jeff Lasko, sister, Laura Lasko, and sister-in-law, Tina Perkins. A memorial service of remembrance will be held at 1200, Saturday, April 7, 2018 at St. John XXIII Catholic Church, 5170 Winchester Southern R, NW, Canal Winchester, OH 43110. Family will receive visitors starting at 11am with a luncheon immediately following mass. The family would like to thank the caring and compassionate staff at Fairfield Medical Center and The Pickering House. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Joe's name to Fairfield Hospice Pickering House at https://fairhopehospice.org/donation-page/ or check made payable to Fairhope Hospice & Palliative Care Inc., 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, OH 43130.

We were sorry to hear of Joey's passing. All of our memories of Joey with our boys are fun, happy ones. We were lucky and better people to have had him in our lives for such a short time. Prayers to all the family

I'm so sorry to hear of Joey's passing. We grew up together in Carroll and I regret that we didn't stay in better touch after we left and moved on. But I'll always remember art class at BCHS, working at the Pizza Crossing, and drawing monsters with Joey while watching Double Chiller Theater with Fritz the Nite Owl. RIP, Joey.
