Joseph E. "Joe" Parrish

PARRISH Joseph E. "Joe" Parrish, 16, of Millersport, Oh., died Monday, July 4, 2005 as the result of a farming accident. He was a senior at Lakewood High School, member of Lakewood National Honor Society, Lakewood Student Council as Treasurer, Lakewood "Big Brother" Program, Kith & Kin 4-H Club, Tractor Jockey Club, Hartford Junior Fair Board, Licking Co. 4-H Jr. Camp Counselor, Licking County 4-H Junior Leaders, Hartford Fair Junior Livestock Exhibitor, 2004 Recipient of The Bob Buckenberger Volunteer Award, avid hunter and attended Millersport United Methodist Church. He is survived by his parents, Ed and Kathy Parrish; brother, Eric Parrish of Millersport, Oh.; grandparents, Charles and Lucille Parrish of Hebron, Oh., Blair and Nancy Breece of McComb, Oh.; great-grandmother, Evelyn Schneider of McComb, Oh.; aunts and uncles, Charles Gilbert Parrish Jr. and Mark (Peggy) Parrish of Millersport, Oh., Scott (Andrea) Breece of McComb, Oh. and Brad (Laura) Breece of Alvada, Oh.; cousins, Carrie (Josh) Flegle, Evan Parrish, Jordan, Joshua and Jared Breece, Michaela, Caleb, Zachary and Abigail Breece; and numerous family and friends. Funeral service will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Millersport United Methodist Church with Rev. Clarence Hensel officiating. Burial to follow in Millersport Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the church and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Family strongly encourages, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The "Joe Parrish Memorial Scholarship" Fund c/o any Park National Bank or Fairfield National Bank branch office.
