Carpenter Joshua Allen Carpenter, born May 27, 1994, passed away unexpectedly at home Saturday, December 19, 2015. Born in Columbus, Ohio to Allen and Susan Carpenter. Preceded in death by grandmother Regina Jandrey and great-grandmother Ellen Juart. Survived by parents, Allen and Susan Carpenter; sister, Alyssa Carpenter; grandparents, Bernie and Shirley Carpenter Bloniarz; grandfather, Richard Jandrey; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family will receive friends Monday, December 28 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at THE SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES VICTORIAN VILLAGE CHAPEL, 34 W. 2nd Ave., Columbus 43201, where funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery. Luncheon following burial. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Autism Speaks.

Josh was such a wonderful person. I worked with him at Riverside Elementary and I am so saddened to hear the news. It always made me smile when I saw him throughout the community. He has always had a huge piece of my heart!

Dear Carpenter Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Whether I saw Josh after school at the library or when I worked with him at Andersons as his job coach, he was never without a smile. He always worked hard with diligence, speed, accuracy and most importantly a great attitude. I will miss him, his smile and cheerful disposition.

Josh was a great person he made a lot of people smile with him singing and him always being happy put everyone else at work in a great mood. Gonna miss you saying Hi Lauren to me and singing Christmas songs with me. Gosh there is so much I could say about Josh that I probably have already said. R.I.P my good friend :)
