As an old student of Bunyore Girls, I have very fond and vivid memories of both Dr Makokha and her husband Bishop Byrum makokha. You were role models for us as young people. Your preaching, your educating and your dedication. Your legacy will live on forever.

Dear the Family of Byrum Makokha,
The family of Livingstone Tiema has learned with great sorrow the passing of your beloved wife and a mother of your children who departed this world so suddenly. It's our sincere prayer that the Lord give you strength and comfort you at this time of difficulty. May our Almighty touch you all and heal your broken heart. Also, may God rest her soul in eternal peace.
