Kathleen E. Duda, age 86, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018. Born in Wellston, OH to William Sanford Shingler and Hazel Perry Shingler. Preceded in death by her husband John, of 66 years, daughter Christina, granddaughter Mary Elizabeth. Kay is survived by children, Cindi (Dale) Turner, Miles (Sandy) Duda, Matthew Duda, Carolyn (Tony) Beck, Mark (Ann) Duda; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Paul Duda; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Duda; many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 11am with gathering one hour prior at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Inurnment for Kay and her late husband, John will follow immediately after the Memorial Service at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Canal Winchester, OH. Thank you to Canal Winchester Assisted Living Facility Staff for all the care and love they showed and gave to Kay. Special thank you to nurse Carrie and all her nursing aids. Mom enjoyed and loved you all. To the residents - thank you for your friendship and love not only to mom, but her entire family. Also, thank you to Summit Hospice for all their help and kindness.
