JOHNSON Kevina F. Johnson. A luncheon for family and friends, to Celebrate the Life of Kevina F. Johnson, 43, of Newark, will be held on Saturday from 12Noon-3 p.m. at Washington Plaza, 340 Eastern Ave., Newark, Ohio. Kevina was born in San Francisco, CA on December 23, 1968 to the late Barry Gibson and June (Johnson) Bivens of Newark. She went to be with the Lord at Licking Memorial Hospital on February 20, 2012 while surrounded by family. Kevina attended Heath City Schools and graduated from Newark High School, Class of 1987. She enjoyed flower gardening, decorating and taking care of her home. Most important in her life was spending time with her family and supporting her daughters at school and sporting events. In addition to her mother, survivors include her fiancé, Robert Devoll; daughters, Ashlie Carter and Brooklyn Griffin of Newark, OH; sister, Carmell Brown; twin-sister, Kathie (Wheeler Sparrow) Johnson of Columbus, OH; brother, Ronnell (Dana) Gibson of Morgantown, WV; and numerous uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by grandmother Kathryn Johnson and step-father John Bivens.
