Krista crossed my mind just a few days ago, when I ran across a card she sent me many years before her transition. I just wanted to share with her family that she is gone, but certainly not forgotten...an wonderful woman and an amazing educator. I am sure she has found some children to serve in Heaven. Do you thing, my friend. I'll join you when the Lord says so! Sadly missed.

Ms. Eisnaugle left a lasting impression on my life. I went to Westgate Elementary from 1990-1995. Since then I have had a little brother and sister to attend that school. Everytime I walk through the front doors and look to my left I always say or think to myself, "There's Ms. Eisnaugle's office!" She will be deeply missed by all those that came in contact with her.

One of Krista's visions for Goshen Lane Elementary, where I still teach, was the creation of a nature lab in our courtyard. As teachers we have worked over the years to maintain the gardens for the children's use. Last week, as our kindergarteners planted spring bulbs in their garden, I thought of Krista and was thankful for her leadership in this wonderful project. She gave a lot to our school.

Karen,
Even though it has been many years since we have been in touch, I still keep the Eisnaugle clan in my thoughts. Mother (Wylodine) always had a special place in her heart for you and Krista. I am saddened to hear of her passing and will remember you in my prayers.

The entire Columbus Schools family is saddened by the loss of Krista. However, we are grateful for the many years she spent with us working on behalf of our children. I first met Krista when we started the "cadet principal" classes together in 1980. I was a high school trained person and she was elementary. At that time, the levels (elementary, middle, and high) didn't interact much so we held negative sterotypes about each other. Krista knocked all of that out of the ballpark! She was (and remained) one strong, dedicated, intelligent individual with whom I continued to be honored to work. Her legacy spans her high quality work with children, teachers, and leadership interns, and principals. Thank you for sharing her with us and with me personally. She will remain warmly and fondly in my memory.

I worked with Krista when she was a cadet principal at Highland Elementary school. She was a wonderful educator and co-worker. My daughter, Emily, and my son, Charles, attended Westgate Elementary when she was the principal. She worked very hard to make sure that our school was one of the best. I liked her as a co-worker and I loved her as a principal. She will be missed.

Miss Eisnaugle was my 6th grade elementary teacher back around 1979-80 at Koebel Elementary. I remember she always had a smile for me. I can still see her face in my mind 28 years later. As I think about her now and then over the years and her smile appears on my face. Thank you Krista.

For 27 years every 4 weeks I listened to Krista tell me how to do her hair... I will miss her deeply, she was a good friend.

I extend my deepest simpathy to the family. Principal Eisnaugle was a loving person, who had a deep passion for education. She will be missed, but we thank God for the battle is OVER!
I love you and thank you for being an inspiration!

Krista was a very special person and always brought a wonderful ray of sunshine with her cheerful greeting, "I'm just peachy!" We will miss her so much.
