Kristian Kohler Obituary
1976 - 2017
Kristian Avery Kohler, 40, of Reynoldsburg, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017. Kristian was born in Bethpage, NY; 1994 graduate of Long Island Lutheran High School; graduate of Capital University; formerly employed with Kroger; 15 years faithful service with ADT. He was an avid sports fan and loved coaching his son Bryan with the Reynoldsburg Youth Sports and watching movies with his daughter Kayla. Kristian is survived by his loving wife Sue; children Bryan and Kayla; parents Bruce and Dottie; brother Daniel; mother and father-in law Paul and Barb Bidwell; brother-in-law Darren Bidwell; nieces and nephews Drew, Athena, Natalie and Nathan; many loving and dear friends. Family will receive friends 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Cotner Funeral Home 7369 East Main St. Reynoldsburg where his funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Burial following at Glen Rest Memorial Estates. Contributions may be made in Kristian's memory to Mt. Carmel Hospice and Palliative Care or the American Cancer Society. Dear Kohler Family,
We, the families of The Compassionate Friends, send you our heartfelt condolences. The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family. We meet monthly in Columbus from 7-9 PM on the second Tuesday of each month at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1479 Morse Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229. If and when you are ready to do so, please join us. We need Not Walk Along. We are The Compassionate Friends.
