Chrissy,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss, I, too, met you in the ICU Unit and in our passing one another; we would always ask how each other's husband was doing. I do not have words because there are none that can take away your pain. I only hope that you will be given the strength to get through this tragic loss in your life. My heart breaks for you and my prayers are with you and your family. Take one day at a time.

Chrissy (and family of Lance),

I was looking for a way to let you know how sorry i was to hear about lance. I'm hoping this gets to you! I was one of the nurses who took care of him (the short blonde one who learned that crazy bed that day!). I was shocked and heartbroken to hear of Lance's passing. I came to work the day after he passed away and someone told me what had happened. I am so deeply sorry to hear about this. Words can't express how you must be feeling right now, i'm sure. You are all such a loving family, and I pray that God will be with you during this time. If there is ANYTHING i can do for you...any of you...please, by all means, don't hesitate to let me know. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

With Love,

Chrissy.. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My heart goes out to you and your families. It is never easy to lose a loved one but at such a young age, it makes the loss even harder. Keep your memories close to your heart. They will see you through as will the love and support of your family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you and my heart is heavy just knowing you are enduring such a tragic loss. Have faith in God. He will be there.

Chrissy,

Lance is like a brother to me as are the rest of the guys. I'm sure you know that we grew up together after hearing some of our talks. We would always be there for each other if the other one called. I'm here for you also! All you need to do is let me know what you need and I'll do my best to see that it gets done. I have an empty spot in my heart that aches but I will always have my many memories. We are so sorry for your loss! Remember Chrissy, Genia and I are here for you anytime you need us.

Chrissy,

I loved Lance the minute I met him. He was such a sweetie pie. I know that's what won you over ;o) I was so fortunate to see your love begin.

He was a great husband, son, uncle, friend, and "dad" to Gunner, Sam, and Grace.

You have so many people who love you and are here for you. Please let any of us know what you need.

We are here to help and hold you.

I love you so much -

Angie

I graduated with Lance's sister Brenda, and I knew of Lance a little bit in High School. I got to know Lance better through my nephew (Greg Windle). I remember when he framed Greg's new house, and what a superb job he did. Through small conversation with him during the building process. He was always kind, and very polite. Him and the rest of the crew was always cracking jokes, and making the work fun. I know him and Greg had alot of good memories together. (Remember the deer hunting insident?). That was a classic. My heart and prayers go out to the family and Chrissy. Chrissy I only got to meet you once or twice, and my heart aches. He will always be in our hearts and prayers, and never forgotten.

I got to see Lance this past June for the first time in well over 10 years. I am so thankful I got a minute of his time, especially now. God truly works in mysterious ways. I know Lance thought the world of his wife and his family and friends. I am deeply sorry for your loss. I hope you can all find solace someday in knowing that he is in a better place. I will never forget him.

There’s an empty spot on my heart these days

Question after question runs through this murky haze

I know it’s not for me to wonder. What is right or wrong?

Only God knows, and I hope he keeps us strong

The tears that fall for you, will never be in vain

It is all we have right now, to release, and ease our pain

I wish I had more words to say, and spread it through the Land

But right now I’m in allot of pain you see, and I need a guiding hand

So I’m taking this pain and hate I feel and talking to the Lord above

Please God give me a heart of gold, and teach me how to Love

Those who never knew my friend, his story will be told

My friend had a spirit like a Tiger, and his heart was made of Gold

Your Friend,

Jerry Crace

Not on the same level as the guys, but they have let me stay all these years. Lance has been there for me in rough spots and he has been a friend to our boys. He has shared his love of hunting and riding with our old on many occations. His friendship was not just with my husband Johnny put with our whole family. We will miss you but will always have our memories to keep you alive in our hearts.
