Dear Diane, Johnnie, Abbie and Lucy:

Your mother was an amazing woman. I recently learned she was much older than her doubles partner- my mother. Years ago at the YMCA, some guys commented on those “older chicks” playing tennis against two men and wondered if they could keep up. After they both charged the net I think they found out. Kinds regards,

Lucy:
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for you and your family at Leah's passing. She was a special lady and I'll always remember her great sense of humor. There were certainly some grand events that she took pride in being part of the gang. Again, so sad for everyone and especially you. Sincerely, Mary Jo
