Lenard Howe Obituary

HOWE Lenard L. "Len" Howe, age 75, of Baltimore, formerly of Pickerington, died Thursday, November 3, 2005, at the Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. He retired from the Wonder Bread Baking Company in Columbus, where he served as plant engineer, was a United States Navy Korean Conflict Veteran, and a member of the David Johnston Memorial American Legion Post #283. Lenard is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Anne Myren Howe; daughters, twins, Janet LaFond of Baltimore and Janice Marie Prescott of Brookfield, IL, Joyce Evalyn (Kevin) Huddy of Fairbanks, AK, Julie Beth (Michael) Stalnaker of Sarasota, FL; grandchildren, Jonathan LaFond, Benjamin Prescott, Kaleigh Huddy, Victoria Stalnaker, Tyler Stalnaker, Trenton Stalnaker; sister, Agnes Ballou of Omaha, NE, and his brother, Jack (Lavelle) Howe of Prairie Grove, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Eva Howe, sister Blanche Reagle and brothers Arthur, Richard and Ted Howe. Friends may visit 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION, 550 Hill Road North (State Route #256), Pickerington, where funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Jill Dunlap officiating. Friends who wish may contribute to the charity of their choice in Lenard's memory. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.spencefuneralhome.com.
