Les was by far the most gregarious person I have ever met. You always knew when he entered a room something interesting was going to happen. After we learned of his passing I had to find an old coed-softball team picture from ~84. There was Les center screen with a GIGANTIC smile. He will not be forgotten. We are sorry for your loss.

Toni - I know how difficult this is for you...but you have been such a wonderful daughter and such a support for your dad and Lori these past weeks...no one could do more. I know that your dad is very proud of you and that you will feel his presence when you need him in the days and weeks ahead. You are a special and lovely person - and a very dear friend. Love, Nancy

Lori,
I'm so sorry I missed you at the funeral home. This is a voice from the distant past--Norma Schroeder, your old babysitter on Alvin Street; I used to live on Perth Street. My last name now is Tynan, having been married & living here in Columbus for 28 years. I'm sorry it was under these circumstances, but it was great to see all three of your kids now that they are grown--they're wonderful, and you must be very proud. I have fond memories of when I used to watch your kids; it was always fun to come to your home. I am so sorry for your loss of Les; I only wish I had known you lived in this area before.
Sincerely,
Norma (Schroeder) Tynan

Les was a wonderful neighbor, ready to help out in anyway and was always good for a joke to help brighten the day. The neighborhood won't be the same Les. We'll miss you!!! Our prayers are with Lori and your family.
