Steve was a kind, thoughtful mentor while I was in youth group at ESGBC. His wisdom and humility were evident to everyone who encountered him. Even, and perhaps especially in adversity, Steve remained steadfast. Few people I have known have equaled his equanimity and grace in difficult circumstances. He changed lives through his words, but even more so through his example. Steve, we will miss you, but we are confident that, by God's grace, you have passed on to that far country where our souls find their rest.

May the love of friends and family guide you at this most difficult time. Steve was a well respected member of the AEC community and a member of the SMPS Columbus family. He will be missed.
