Lewis J. Mollman

Mollman Lewis J. Mollman, CPCU, CLU, 80, of Columbus, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013 in his home from complications of Parkinson's Disease. A graduate of Purdue University, he served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 to 1954. He was past chief operating officer of New England RE, Boston, and of Nationwide Insurance Company, Columbus, Ohio. He was past president of the CPCU chapters in Memphis, Tenn., Columbus, Ohio and Boston, Mass. He was also a member of the Worthington Shrine Club. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Kay; daughter, Dawn Hippler, North Port, FL; son, Jay (Stacy) Mollman, Attleboro, Mass.; brother, Don (Martha) Mollman, Mason, OH; sisters, Kay Wind, Ravenna, OH, Lea (Connie) Mollman, Youngstown, OH and Chandra (Bob) Mattingly, Rising Sun, IN; sister-in-law, Marilyn Mollman, Phoenix, AR; and six grandchildren. A 1950 graduate of Aurora High School, Aurora, IN, he was the son of Kenneth L and Leona Mollman, both deceased, and was preceded in death by siblings Lee Mollman, Tony Mollman and Jeanna Mollman Norton. Service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, june 23 at Worthington United Methodist Church, Worthington, Ohio.
