1920 - 2018
Lillian M. Penzone, age 97, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018, at Westminster Thurber Community. Life member of St. John the Baptist Italian Catholic Church; member of Amici D'Oro and the St. Peter and Paul Guild. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph A. Penzone; sister and brother-in-law, Judith and Louis Bonaventura; brother-in-law, Adam Carfagna; son-in-law, Donald Rose. Survived by her children, Charlene (Bill Stetler) Rose, Charles (Debra) Penzone and David (Patty) Penzone; grandchildren, Kimberly Rose (John) Beshara, Christopher (Christina) Rose, Amy (Sean) Murray, Colby (Maura) Penzone, Chelsea Penzone, Giuseppe, Genevieve and Adelaide Penzone; great-grandchildren, Drew and Noah Beshara, Danielle and Caitlin Rose, Julia and Elaina Murray, Charlie, Lily, Grace and Eleanore Penzone; sister, Antionette Carfagna; brother, Bruno (Mary) Quaranto; many good friends and dear relatives. Friends may call Thursday, August 23, 2018, from 4-8 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. Fifth Avenue. Family and friends are asked to gather for her funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m., Friday, August 24, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Italian Catholic Church, 720 Hamlet Street (at Lincoln). Burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute in memory of Lillian to St. John The Baptist Italian Catholic Church, 720 Hamlet Street, Columbus (OH) 43215-1534.
