For the Love of Linda…Mama “G”

You were a mother to many

A best friend to all you kept close

Love you flourished so naturally

Always there for those who needed you most.

It was your “Ole School” motherly ways

As a young person, some would have thought you not to be so gentle

Although you never meant any harm

Your focus was keeping young people on track, righteously sentimental.

“Her purpose had been served” is what so many say

Even if no one understands

You stayed full of heart at all times and the Lord was your guiding tool

With your unforeseen departure, it is tough to comprehend.

For the Love of Linda…Mama “G”

You taught so many with your strength, beliefs, and God sent ways

You will forever be loved and truly missed

Until we all meet again, in heaven, where there is ALWAYS BETTER DAYS.

Philippians 1:21-24

For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain, but if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labor: yet what I shall choose I know not. For I am in a straight betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ, which is far better. Nevertheless, to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.

To the entire Greggs Family,

You have my deepest sympathy & I too know what it's like to lose a mother. Just remember to continue to trust in GOD, because he is the only one that will see you through. Weeping May Endure For A Night, but JOY Does Cometh In The Morning. GOD BLESS & know that she is resting in the Lord's arms!

Cousin Eva,

You and your family have my deepest sympathy at the loss of your only daugther, Linda. I can still picture her, the last time I saw her, sitting in the rocker at Der Dutchman clowning with the children and making them laugh as we waited for the bus. What a good time she had that day.

She will be missed by all that knew her.

To the entire Greggs Family:

I was so saddened to hear about the loss of our beloved Sis. Linda. My mother Mary Fadis was practically next door neighbors w/

Ms. Linda for years and I graduated with Jimmy in 1993. "Linda-Linda" was our play name for her. She had a huge heart and always made us laugh. Be encouraged Tonya, Nicole, Brian, and Keith and know that she is in a more awesome place. Now you have two more beautiful angels protecting you...Jimmy and Ms. Linda.

The Fadis Family sends our continuous prayers and love. Keep your faith strong and know that God makes NO mistakes.

Brian, Tonya, & Nicole, (Keith Too), I'm truly sorry to hear about your mom. Growing up together, Mrs Greggs, was like a second mother to me, as much as I was over at your house! She was truely a special lady. I hate the fact that I haven't seen her in the recent years, but she will always remain apart of my memories of us growing up together. I won't be able to make it to the services because I'm having a test on Thursday, and unable to walk for 48 hours after the test. But I will keep you guys in my prayers and thoughts on Friday.

Miss you guys, take care, and once again I'm truly sorry for your loss.

I was proud to call Linda my friend.

She brought joy to all of us in the dialysis unit. I sat next to her, and we never had a dull moment!! She kept us all laughing. We are all like "family" and we hate losing one of our "dialysis family members." My heart goes out to family and friends. She was much too young to have left us, but then our heavenly Father must have had other plans for Linda. I know that she will rest in peace and never be cold again. (She always "froze" while getting her dialysis treatment.) Today when we took our chairs, there was a long stemed red rose on Linda's chair. It was a very nice jesture, but also brought tears to our eyes. Linda will be greatly missed by all of us on Monday, Wednesday, & Friday. May your hearts be lightened with good memories that you have made with Linda !! God Bless You !!!
