They say the best inheritance a parent can give their children is a few minutes of their time each day..Lisa your children have been given so much by you and you should be very proud of who they are because so much of them is because of you..Goodbyes are not forever, Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I'll miss you until we meet again.

Thank you for allowing me to come to know you, because of this I am a better person. Thank you for coming into my Uncle Craig's life and opening up his heart and making his life fuller. Thank you for giving birth to four amazing children, for carrying them, teaching them and loving them. Thank you for coming to all those football and basketball games when I was a kid, just to watch me be a cheerleader. Thank you for the clothes you sewed for me, the times you took me swimming and the talks we had. Thank you for working so hard because you always wanted the best for your family, and never asked for anything in return. Thank you for teaching us all about loyalty and dedication which you showed with every action you took. I am truly grateful to have spent the time I did with you, while you were here on this earth.

Here is a poem I found and read to the family christmas eve from Lisa

I have no words to tell you
The joy their voices bring.
For it is beyond description
to hear the angels sing.

I know how much you miss me
I see the pain inside your heart,
but I am not so far away.
We really aren't apart.

So be happy for me dear ones,
You know I hold you dear.
And be glad I'm spending Christmas
with Jesus Christ this year.

I send you each a special gift
from my hevenly home above.
I send you each a memory
of my undying love.

After all, love is a gift
more precious than pure gold.
It was always most important
in the stories Jesus told.

Please love and keep each other
as my Father said to do.
For I can't count the blessings or love
He has for each of you.

So have a Merry Christmas and
wipe that tear away.
Remember, I am spending Christmas
with Jesus Christ this year.

We love and miss you Lisa!!

We love you Lisa with all our hearts. You have been a wonderful mother and wife. We thank God for you and the time he gave us with you. I know your time on this earth was short and we regret that very deeply.

We are so thankful that you and Craig had four beautiful children. We know you will always live in their hearts and we will always see you in them. As long as we live, we will be here to help and support the children and Craig, especially through this tragic and difficult time.

We find peace knowing you are with our Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven and know our Lord will comfort Craig and the children by giving them His love. We will miss hearing you laugh and we will miss seeing your dimpled smile.

Our love for you will never die. Goodbye Lisa,
until we meet in Heaven.

To My Uncle Craig and my Cousins, Amy, Kevin, Eric and Greg,

This occasion weighs heavily upon all our hearts, for you cannot truly celebrate someone's life at its end without first coping with the devastating grief in losing them.

To my cousins, my heart goes out to you. That your mother adored you; you need not me to say. But you were her brightest light, her dearest friends, the bottom of her heart, and her very soul. I know that she is still with you. She wouldn’t have it any other way. To my uncle, I am so sorry for the loss of your devoted wife, companion, and friend. She loved and protected you since the day you met. I pray for your strength and support from family and friends at this difficult and challenging time in your life. To her Mother and family, I am sorry for the loss of your daughter and sister, and pray for you to be healed through time.

I feel very blessed to have known Lisa, even though our time together was short. I don’t know if she really comprehended the influence she had on those that knew her, and never fully realizing the love we all had for her. Lisa found such joy and stability in her family. She was a loving Mother and Wife who had such dedication to her family and never asked for anything in return. She was a true team player and great example to me.

In spite of our grief, let us be grateful for those good memories we have of her and let us remember her, no matter how many tears we shed. And let us not say goodbye…but rather, simply, "Lisa…until we meet again."

I know that words cannot express the pain and loss you are going thru. Lisa was so helpful and caring when I lost my brother in 2006. I got to know her and the family by coaching the boys. Only those close to her knew how wonderful a person she was. I know I have lost a friend. Take care and God bless all of you. You are in my prayers.
